Welcome! We are excited about your interest in becoming a Summer Camp Staff Member for 2027. Summer Camp is the most epic part of the Summer holidays, especially for our young people in the Greater Sydney region. This year, we will be having 2 Summer Camps:
• Jets Camp – 12th - 17th of January (grade 4-7)
• Teen Camp – 19th - 24th of January (grade 8-12)
Summer Camps are full of wild, fun activities and worship programs. The friendships you make with other staff are unlike anything you will experience elsewhere. It's a spiritual high for all who attend and is a great way to minister for Jesus in a fun and impactful way.
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must be at least 16+ years old to be a JETs Camp staff member and 19+ years old to be a Teen Camp staff member.
All staff are required to comply and conduct themselves to the standards of the Seventh-day Adventist Church as well as all camp policies and procedures.
Training is COMPULSORY. All staff are required to attend Staff Camp on January 10 & 11. Some online training for Summer Camps may also be involved. If not able to attend these dates, you must let us know in advance and we will arrange individual training.
Applicants who are 18 or over at the start of camp must have a valid & current working with children check.
APPLICATION PROCESS
All applications will be reviewed in early October. A Conference personnel will get back to you shortly after this date to let you know whether we will be needing you at our 2027 Summer Camps.
